The view of the hilly surroundings and the Atlantic Ocean is beautiful at any time of day

The entire front of the house is taken up by a fully glazed veranda, which warms up and extends the living space on cooler days.

However, the large glass elements can also be pushed almost completely to the side, so that one sits sheltered but, as it were, outdoors.

The veranda is only furnished with a table and four chairs, the rest of the room offers enough space to make yourself comfortable on the sun loungers, to dance salsa or to roll out the gym mat in the morning...

The conservatory leads directly into the equally spacious living room with its high wooden gabled ceiling. An eye-catcher is the great wood-burning stove, which keeps the whole house cosily warm on cool evenings in winter. The landlady provides wood for it in the basket next to it and outside.

In addition, there is a permanently installed Roman heater, as in the other rooms.

Few but selected pieces of furniture decorate the room: a comfortable sofa, a highboard with flat-screen TV, a side table, a glass console, modern paintings on the wall – a beautiful ceramic floor and selected light sources combine a noble, modern ambience with a rustic basis.

Many years ago, the central part of the house was a stable (Pajero), of which, however, the architects have only preserved the original wooden windows that can be closed and the wooden gable ceiling with a large beam across the room.

At the left head end of the room, an open, narrow wooden staircase leads to a closed attic. Below is a modern, very comfortable sofa bed for a third person.

Next to the stairs is the bedroom – definitely a feel-good room for good sleeping comfort: the large French double bed has a good mattress and the original window looks out through the conservatory to the sea.

The kitchen is separated from the living area by a wall. Thanks to a tilting window, you can look from the kitchen across the living area to the outside. This far-reaching view and the incidence of light through the skylights lend the rooms a charm all of their own.

A large oval table forms the focal point of the room. The white fronts and red tiles contrast the dark wooden roof.The kitchen offers plenty of storage space and good equipment. An angled skylight directly above the cooker is a pretty, additional source of light.

A large glass front with sliding door creates a connection to the patio to the side.

The patio (Spanish for inner courtyard) here is a covered entrance area with a rattan seating area with a yucca palm tree in front of an original natural stone wall.

The bathroom with shower, toilet is at the other end of the kitchen; here the light also falls in through a skylight. At the side of the house, next to the driveway, there is a small house where the washing machine is located. 

The 1500sqm hillside plot is completely fenced.

Behind the house the slope is hilly, some fruit trees and large chestnuts provide shade and fruit in season.
